Job Overview
Black and Company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Vending Program Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing customer vending and inventory programs, maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting vending operations, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, inventory management experience, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with customers, sales teams, and warehouse personnel.
This is a hybrid role consisting of office, warehouse, and field responsibilities. Approximately 70% of the position is based at our facility, with 30% spent at customer locations.
Key Responsibilities
· Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools.
· Conduct weekly customer site visits to perform inventory replenishment, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
· Prepare and manage vending reports and create customer replenishment orders.
· Serve as a backup for vending deliveries and product put-away activities at customer facilities.
· Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory levels and ensure product availability.
· Assist in developing and implementing inventory management strategies that support customer goals and operational efficiency.
· Coordinate inventory movement and support warehouse operations.
· Troubleshoot vending equipment and provide support for machine maintenance, product changes, coil adjustments, and roster updates.
· Identify opportunities to improve vending program performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
· Previous experience in inventory management, vending operations, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred.
· Experience managing industrial vending programs is highly desirable.
· Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
· Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software preferred.
· Strong understanding of inventory control and supply chain principles.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
· Ability to travel to customer locations as required.
