Requirements
- Active Kansas license or eligibility through IMLC
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to work independently in a cardiothoracic surgery setting
- Strong vein harvesting experience required (Maquet Vasoview experience preferred)
- Previous cardiothoracic surgery experience strongly preferred

Opportunity Overview
We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to provide locum tenens coverage within a growing Cardiothoracic Surgery program. This opportunity is ideal for a highly skilled provider who is comfortable working independently in both inpatient and outpatient settings and is experienced in vein harvesting procedures.
The organization is seeking coverage while conducting a search for a permanent team member. Providers with availability for approximately two weeks per month are encouraged to apply.

- Patient volume:
- 6-10 outpatient visits weekly
- 2-10 inpatient encounters weekly
- Temporary privileges available
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 1 day
Call overage
- Beeper call
- 7 days per week
- Response time: 30 minutes
- Low phone consult volume
- Approximately 50% callback rate
- Coverage for assigned patients only
