Duties
- Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features.
- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming bushes, edging beds, and weeding.
- Operate ground maintenance equipment like mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Support irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure healthy plant growth and water efficiency.
- Identify various plants and pests to assist with pest management and plant health care.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor activities and equipment operation.
- Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, maintaining tools, and ensuring safe working conditions.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge for operating landscaping machinery and troubleshooting basic equipment issues.
- Experience with landscape maintenance practices including lawn care, gardening, and hardscape installation.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping projects.
