Job Summary
As the CDL Driver/Construction, you will ultimately be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles, transporting equipment and materials, and supporting construction crews in daily field operations. You will coordinate the safe delivery of materials, complete required vehicle inspections, and assist with construction activities as needed. Your customers are Congruex field crews and project teams, and you will make meaningful contributions to the company's success through safety, reliability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to)
- Safely operate commercial vehicles requiring a valid Class A CDL
- Complete Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) and maintain vehicle safety and DOT compliance
- Assist construction crews with labor activities when driving responsibilities are complete
- Transport equipment and materials safely to and from job sites
- Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and operating procedures
- Work collaboratively with field crews to complete daily construction activities
- Additional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needs
Required Qualifications
Education, Licensing, and Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Valid DOT Medical Card required
Experience
- Experience operating commercial vehicles requiring a Class A CDL
- Volumetric cement truck experience required
- Experience supporting construction or utility field operations preferred

- Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and construction equipment
- Ability to lift and carry 50–75 lbs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience operating volumetric cement trucks
- Experience working in underground utility, telecommunications, or heavy construction environments
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry 50–75 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical labor throughout the workday
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to safely work around construction equipment and active job sites
- Ability to wear required PPE, including safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses, and other applicable safety equipment
- Must be able to pass applicable pre-employment screenings
