We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Responsibilities
- Perform a range of massage therapies including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy tailored to client requirements
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective treatments
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend ongoing wellness strategies
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment in compliance with occupational health standards
- Provide excellent patient service with a focus on customer satisfaction and comfort
- Keep detailed records of treatments administered and client progress
Requirements
- Valid massage therapy license
- Proven experience in patient service, with strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
- Experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
- Familiarity with occupational health standards and best practices in med spa environments is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to assess patient needs effectively
- Prior experience in med spa or similar healthcare settings is a plus
