Overview
Crocker Marine Services is a leading marine construction company specializing in docks, seawalls, and boat lifts. We are seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher / Seawall Cap Installer to join our marine and concrete construction team. This role involves forming, placing, finishing, and repairing concrete for seawalls, caps, docks, and related marine structures. The ideal candidate takes pride in high-quality workmanship, understands marine environments, and can work safely and efficiently on active job site. PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE.
Responsibilities
- Form, pour, finish, and cure concrete for seawall caps and marine structures
- Set forms, rebar, anchors, dowels, and expansion joints
- Perform hand and power finishing (troweling, edging, broom finishes, etc.)
- Repair and resurface existing concrete caps and seawalls
- Work around water, docks, and marine equipment safely
- Read and follow basic plans, elevations, and specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors
Requirements
- Proven experience as a concrete finisher (marine or seawall experience preferred)
- Knowledge of concrete mix designs, curing methods, and finishing techniques
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with seawall caps, dock work, or marine construction
- Ability to read construction drawings and elevations
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Experience working from barges or near water
