Behavioral Health Therapist
Our Dayton (Montgomery County) team is seeking an engaging, passionate, and experienced Therapist to provide individual, group and family counseling in the office, and/or community. Competitive pay based on licensure/education
Starting pay: $26.00 and up
Essential Functions:
- Provides initial and ongoing clinical diagnostic assessment of client’s needs and documents level of care on a regular basis.
- Works with multidisciplinary teams to develop and maintain treatment plans.
- Provides individual and group psychotherapy services to clients and families in to stabilize symptoms of a mental health disorder.
- Documents services with basic understanding of compliance and billing for regulatory bodies.
- Provides crisis intervention when needed.
- Provides covered services that fall within their scope of practices.
- Initiates services within the expected timeframe as set by agency standards.
- Completes progress notes and service documentation per agency standards.
- Meets agency monthly utilization requirements.
Qualifications:
- Professional licensure in State of Ohio as a Counselor, or Social Worker
- Masters in Counseling or Social Work Preferred
- One year of professional social service experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn and apply trauma-informed care principles

- Master’s degree in social work, counseling or closely related field.
- Professional independent licensure in the State of Ohio as a Social Worker or Counselor.
- At least one year of professional social service experience.
