Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, and JavaScript frameworks like React and Express.
- Design system architectures and scalable solutions utilizing microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS and Azure.
- Collaborate within Agile teams to plan sprints, review code, and continuously improve development processes through CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub, GitLab, SVN, and Jenkins.
- Implement best practices in software engineering including design patterns, system design for system development, version control management, and security protocols like RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
- Develop front-end interfaces with JavaScript frameworks while ensuring seamless integration with back-end services.
- Optimize applications for scalability and performance by leveraging cloud infrastructure and database systems such as MySQL and SQL Server.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation efforts, and knowledge sharing to foster a collaborative development environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in software development with a strong background in web development and application design.
- Hands-on expertise with programming languages including Java, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript (React/Express), VBA, and C.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components such as Linux servers, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and network security principles.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and tools supporting continuous integration/delivery workflows.
- Experience designing scalable systems using microservices architecture and RESTful APIs for system integration.
- Knowledge of database management systems including MySQL and SQL Server; experience with version control systems like GitHub or SVN is essential.
- Exposure to quantum engineering concepts is a plus but not required; a passion for learning new technologies is highly valued.

Pay: $128,765.10 - $155,071.95 per year
