Position Overview
FASCore is seeking a Field Engineer to support industrial and advanced manufacturing projects throughout the United States. The Field Engineer will be responsible for field execution, installation oversight, troubleshooting, commissioning support, and coordination among customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with electrical systems, HVAC equipment, industrial installations, and field project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical and HVAC installation activities, including conduit routing, wiring, terminations, equipment connections, breaker panel work, and mechanical assembly.
- Support equipment installation, startup, testing, and commissioning activities at customer project sites.
- Review installation quality, torque verification, equipment labeling, startup conditions, and compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Size wiring, breakers, disconnects, and overcurrent protection devices based on NEC requirements, load calculations, and equipment specifications.
- Diagnose electrical, HVAC, and equipment performance issues and coordinate corrective actions with project teams and subcontractors.
- Prepare field documentation, including field reports, redline drawings, installation photos, test logs, and commissioning records.
- Coordinate with equipment manufacturers, suppliers, subcontractors, inspectors, and customer representatives to resolve technical and installation issues during project execution.
- Support project managers to ensure safe, compliant, and timely completion of field activities.
- Follow OSHA, NEC, and company safety requirements, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and PPE requirements.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical Technology, HVAC Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in electrical installation, HVAC systems, industrial maintenance, commissioning, or field engineering.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, NEC requirements, equipment startup, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently at customer project sites.
- Proficient in English communication.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States and accept extended project assignments lasting several weeks or months, based on business and customer requirements.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
