The Leasing Agent is responsible for assisting the Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager in maintaining all aspects of property operations, but with a concentration on the leasing, marketing, and client relations functions of the property. The Leasing Agent strives for 100% occupancy through retention of existing clients, leasing current availability and pre-leasing of future availability.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the leasing process - providing tours, qualifying prospects, leasing apartments, preparing lease paperwork and completing move-in paperwork
- Daily follow-up to phone and email inquiries - providing leasing information, making appointments, creating and following up with maintenance requests, and handling or escalating resident complaints.
- Maintain accurate client records in accordance with Company policy.
- Update daily reports concerning notice to vacate, vacancy reports, activity reports, etc. on a daily basis.
- Physically walk models, leasing office, and clubhouse daily to ensure each is up to standards
- Complete all marketing and advertising daily as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English & Spanish
- 1-2 years Leasing experience
- Customer Service and/or Sales experience
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- High-energy and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Working experience of Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
