What You'll Do
As a PRN LVN, you'll provide quality nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or physician while working as an important member of the healthcare team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patients and document changes in condition.
- Perform wound care and basic nursing procedures.
- Obtain and record vital signs.
- Report changes in patient condition promptly.
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Educate patients and families regarding basic healthcare needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide compassionate and professional patient care.
What We're Looking For
Qualified candidates should have:
- Current, unrestricted Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently when appropriate.
- Reliable and professional work ethic.
- Flexible availability for PRN assignments.
