Job Summary
C.E.S. Towing & Recovery INC is looking for an experienced and dependable Tow Truck Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate has prior towing industry experience and is proficient with both Dispatch software and GPS Management. This role requires excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Dispatch tow truck drivers efficiently while monitoring routes and response times.
- Manage incoming calls from customers, Police Depts, dealerships, insurance companies, and Hospitals.
- Schedule and coordinate vehicle pickups and deliveries using our dispatch center and Radios
- Track drivers throughout the day and provide real-time updates.
- Enter accurate customer and vehicle information into dispatch software.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding ETAs and service updates.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and respond quickly to changing priorities.
- Maintain detailed dispatch logs and ensure all jobs are completed accurately.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Help Dispatch and rent U hauls to customers.
- Maintain safe and clean office environment
- Work without full line Automotive shop for scheduling and billing
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a tow truck dispatcher or clerical office personnel .
- Hands-on experience using Dispatch and GPS is required.
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and dispatch software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays if needed.
- Bilingual - English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the towing, roadside assistance, or vehicle transport industry.
- Experience coordinating multiple drivers simultaneously.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
