Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Front End Mechanic to join our team. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a Front End Mechanic, you will be instrumental in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining equipment to uphold safety standards while supporting our commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Perform detailed inspections and diagnostics on front-end components.
- Conduct repairs on steering systems, suspension, shocks & struts, wheel alignments, and hydraulic systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques as needed.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks such as tire service, brake repairs, lubrication, and fluid replacements to minimize downtime.
- Document all work performed accurately and communicate effectively with team members to coordinate repairs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a mechanic with experience preferred; strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair required.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex mechanical issues.
- Proficiency with automotive alignment equipment, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance apparatus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly report repairs or maintenance needs.
- Certifications related to automotive repair are a plus.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
