AutoCAD Operator Full-Time In Person Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, mutli-tasking, self-motivated, and detail-oriented AutoCAD Operator to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed contract documents and 3D models that support architectural projects. Your rendering in CAD software will be essential in translating concepts into accurate visual representations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects while working with a collaborative team dedicated to excellence and precision. There is no remote or hybrid option.
Responsibilities
- Prepare clear and accurate construction documentation for bidding and construction
- Review subcontractor shop drawings & submittals for construction
- Work closely with the project management team
- Communicate effectively with team members to support project coordination
- Prepare accurate 2D technical drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD
- Create 3D models using SketchUp
- Develop construction details and specify materials and products for various projects
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure designs meet project requirements and building codes
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of drafting or CAD experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD; certification is preferred
- Experience with SketchUp or other 3D modeling software
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings & submittals
- Knowledge of construction detailing and documentation
- Familiarity with building codes and construction standards
- Strong attention to detail and excellent drafting skills
- Organized, creative, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment

Pay: $47,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
