GH Tool is NOT a production shop. Our skilled CNC Machinists set up and operate high speed 3 axis and 5 axis CNC machines, and make necessary measurements in order to manufacture custom designed components within tolerance.
Night Shift starts at 4:45 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Any Friday hours will generally have an earlier start/finish time and should be expected as workload demands.
As Night Shift Supervisor your role:
- Oversees repair work and manufacturing of die cast tooling and aerospace components, including but not limited to identifying design issues, performing manual and mechanical adjustments to components and molds, and tracking job progress through completion.
- Distributes work load and manages personnel to maximize efficiency of component production.
- Identifies and addresses quality issues to ensure continuous improvement of processes.
- Oversees training of new hires and ensures that machined parts are manufactured within tolerance, and that completed tools are assembled according to specifications.
Ideal candidates will have the following:
- 2 year technical degree or 3 years equivalent experience in CNC machining.
- Minimum 10-15 years experience in the die cast industry and tool & mold making, preferably in an ISO9000-certified organization.
- Demonstrated experience supervising, coaching, and training personnel.
- Great team player that effectively communicates needs, ideas, and concerns to all appropriate personnel to make the company better.
- CNC Programming experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and perform shop math calculations.
- Good computer proficiency, including data entry skills and familiarity with various software programs.
- Physical ability to move, lift and push up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
- Physical ability to walk and stand on concrete for the duration of the work shift, in increments of up to 6 hours.
