Your Role: Maintenance Employee
As a Maintenance Employee at Valleybrook Estates, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our community infrastructure, ensuring the well-being of our valued residents and owners.
Responsibilities-Your diverse responsibilities include:
- Light electrical work, plumbing, and general handyman services.
- Troubleshooting and repairing residential appliances and HVAC equipment, electrical and plumbing.
- Maintenance and repair of common areas, including exteriors, roofs, sidewalks, and more.
- On-call rotation, for emergency maintenance service.
- Groundskeeping tasks such as light-landscaping, snow removal, storm clean-up, concrete and asphalt maintenance.
- Addressing plumbing emergencies, roof leaks, electrical problems, and other urgent matters.
- Repairs and maintenance inside residents' units.
- Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Association Manager.

- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using common maintenance tools and equipment. Specifically experience with basic electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.

- Versatility: Adaptability to changing priorities and emergency situations.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for precision in maintenance tasks.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.55 - $20.84 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week

- Can you stand for extended periods of time while conducting various maintenance tasks, and are you comfortable walking throughout the community to assess and address maintenance needs?
- Are you able to bend and kneel to access and work on equipment and fixtures as necessary?
- Do you have the ability to safely climb ladders and perform tasks at elevated heights when required, without experiencing fear of heights or vertigo? Including gutter and roof work.
- Are you capable of crawling, stooping, or maneuvering in tight spaces to access utility areas and perform repairs?
- Can you effectively push, pull, and manipulate tools and equipment to complete maintenance assignments?
