SALES ASSOCIATE OVERVIEW:
Join our professional retail team as a Sales Associate, where your high energy & competitive attitude will drive sales and create exceptional customer service experiences! Serving as the face of Wild Side Smoke Shop, you will engage with customers to understand their needs & showcase products through demos. As well as learn and utilize a multitude of sales techniques! Your curious attitude and strong communication skills will help you succeed in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the store remains inviting, organized, and stocked with the latest products. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales skills while making a positive impact on our customers’ day!
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Greet customers enthusiastically & assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving concerns, & maintaining professional etiquette in-person & over the phone
- Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Use POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain clean and attractive work spaces & merchandising displays. Ensuring shelves and cases are both well-stocked & organized for sales
- Assist with stocking, inventory management & merchandising tasks throughout the store
- Support & guide new team members. Lead by example & ensure policies are followed
SKILLS:
- Prior sales experience can be helpful but is not required. Enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Strong communication skills & professional etiquette are essential!!
- Leadership ability is advantageous for those interested in additional opportunities within the team!!!
