PUBLIC WORKS LABORERS – FAIR HAVEN BOROUGH, Monmouth County. Fair Haven Borough is seeking multiple full-time public works laborer positions including the following:
1) Building Maintenance Technician performing and coordinating general repair and maintenance of all borough owned buildings and facilities;
2) Street Dept. Laborer performing manual work related to the maintenance of municipal streets including leaf/brush collection, road repair work, stormwater infrastructure maintenance, public work projects, snow plowing, lifting of heavy equipment. The ability to operate light and heavy equipment, including trucks, loaders, snowplows, and other public works machinery;
3) Parks Dept Laborer performing manual work related to general landscaping, trail maintenance, athletic field maintenance, and irrigation system repair. Work collaboratively with supervisors and fellow employees to complete assigned projects and daily operations.
Must possess a NJ driver’s license, CDL A license preferred. Salary will be per 2026 Teamsters contract, with entry level step placement dependent on experience and qualifications. This position also includes a full benefit package.
