Job Duties of a DSP include:
Weekend days 7a-7p (full time) with a four hour block one day through the week to equal 40 hours (typically TH-SU)

- Household Management (cooking, cleaning, general upkeep of a home)
- Personal Care (bathing, dressing, lifting, toileting)
- Financial Planning (bill paying, money management)
- Achieving Goals (employment, life skills, social interactions)
- Medication Administration / Promoting Health and Wellness (paid training provided)
- Community Activities (movies, putt-putt, medical appointments, grocery shopping, etc.)
- Transportation (ability to obtain F-endorsement after hire)
- Accurate Documentation and Communication Skills
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Time Management
- Basic Computer Skills to complete required daily documentation

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will be a compassionate caregiver providing essential support to individuals in need. Your core skill in care giving will be instrumental in assisting with daily activities and ensuring the well-being of those under your care. With premium skills in first aid/CPR (paid training provided), patient observation, and patient care, you will excel in providing a safe and nurturing environment. Your relevant skills in long term care and social work will further enhance your ability to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Strong time management, communication, and computer skills, along with experience in medication administration (paid training provided), will be key in fulfilling the responsibilities of this role.
