Responsibilities:
The Pine Mountain Ski and Golf Resort is hiring a Lift Operator. This is a part time role with weekend requirements.
Safety & Operation: Operate lift controls, adjust speeds, conduct daily safety checks, and stop lifts in emergencies.
Guest Assistance: Guide guests during loading and unloading, assist children or adaptive riders, and scan tickets if required.
Maintenance & Upkeep: Shovel heavy snow, clear ice from ramps, and set up/tear down queue mazes and signage.
Communication: Report mechanical issues to dispatch and coordinate with Ski Patrol during incidents.
Qualifications:
Physical Demands: Stand outdoors for long shifts in extreme cold and snow, and lift up to 40–50 pounds.
Qualifications: Minimum age of 18 for operating heavy equipment; no prior experience needed as resorts provide training.
Work Schedule: Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak morning-to-late-afternoon shifts.
