About the Role
The Planning Collective is a boutique wedding planning service serving the Dayton, Cincinnati, Columbus, Lima, and Celina areas. As the business grows, I'm looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Wedding Day Assistant to support wedding days.
No two weddings are the same, and no two days look exactly alike. This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, takes direction well, and takes pride in doing things right.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting with venue setup and breakdown
- Supporting vendor coordination and communication
- Keeping the day on timeline
- Being an extra set of hands for whatever comes up
What We're Looking For
- Calm under pressure
- Dependable and detail-oriented
- Comfortable taking direction without constant supervision
- Event or hospitality experience a plus, not required — the right personality matters more
What to Expect
- Hours vary by wedding — anywhere from 4 to 12+ hours
- Meals included on wedding days
- Dates are primarily weekends
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- hospitality or event management: 1 year (Preferred)
