In Home Support for Children & Adults
Pay: $19.00 - $20 per hour
Location: Scott County, Elko MN (In Home, In Person)
Job Type: Part Time, Day Shift.
Are you someone who shows up, follows through, and genuinely cares about helping others? We’re looking for dependable, compassionate individuals to provide in home support, homemaking, and individualized support services for children and vulnerable adults in the Scott County, Elko Minnesota area.
This role is best suited for candidates who values structure, consistency, must be comfortable working with kids who are high behavioral. We are looking for candidates who enjoy staying active, enjoy outdoor activities are comfortable working in a home environment with varying needs and levels of independence. (Male Preferred)
What You’ll Do:
- Provide in home support services, including:
- Individualized Home Support (with and without training)
- Homemaking assistance
- Family support and training reinforcement
- Support children and vulnerable adults with daily routines and skill building
- Help maintain a clean, organized home (meal prep, laundry, tidying)
- Encourage independence, positive behaviors, and community involvement
- Follow individualized plans and communicate with the care team
What We’re Looking For:
- Hands on experience working with children and vulnerable adults, professional or personal experience accepted.
- Previous experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Personal Care Assistant (PCA), caregiver, in-home support worker, or homemaker is preferred
- Experience working with children is required
- Strong redirection and behavior management skills are essential
- Reliable, patient, compassionate, and able to work independently
- Excellent communication skills with a professional and respectful attitude
- Ability to create and maintain a calm, structured, and supportive environment
- Must be available between (8:00 AM–4:00 PM)
Required (Non-Negotiable):
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle
- Good driving record
- Current car insurance
