Job Summary

Duties
- Plan and execute age-appropriate soccer training sessions that emphasize skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship for children aged 4-7.
- Lead practices and games with enthusiasm, motivating children to participate actively and enjoy the sport
- Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to proper coaching protocols, including first aid and CPR procedures
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about player progress, schedules, and upcoming events
- Manage behavior on the field using positive discipline strategies to create a respectful team environment
- Incorporate sports-specific training instruction such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and tactical awareness
- Collaborate with other coaches or staff to organize tournaments, camps, or special events that enhance the youth sports experience
Experience
- Prior coaching experience in soccer or other team sports is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to work with children of various ages in a coaching or teaching capacity
- Knowledge of soccer fundamentals combined with sports coaching experience across multiple disciplines such as basketball, cheerleading, martial arts (Karate, Judo), climbing or gymnastics is a plus
- Experience leading physical education classes or youth sports programs with an emphasis on behavior management and team leadership
- Certification in First Aid and CPR (including AED operation) is required; additional certifications in sports-specific instruction are advantageous
- Background in childcare or health club environments that involve working with students in active settings enhances suitability for this role
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and fellow staff members
