Job Summary
We're seeking a technician with at least 3-5 years of experience to join our team. You'll assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures while providing excellent care and communication to our clients and their pets.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgeries
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Perform diagnostic tests (bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal exams, etc.)
- Take and develop radiographs
- Monitor patients under anesthesia and during recovery
- Place IV catheters and administer fluids
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Educate clients on pet care, medications, and post-visit instructions
- Restrain animals safely for procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment area
Qualifications
- 3+ years of clinical experience required
- Proficiency with practice software systems such as Daysmart, Vetspire, or Avimark.
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and safely handle animals of varying temperaments
- Comfortable assisting with surgery, dentistry, and emergency cases

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
