Restaurant Manager
Job Responsibilities: The Restaurant Manager is responsible for total operations of a single Peach Valley Cafe including all aspects of profit and loss, hiring and training of both management and hourly team, daily execution of safety/sanitation, quality food preparation and guest service. Responsible for cleanliness, repair and maintenance of the building and equipment. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for these areas whether on or off the premises. Responsible for communicating and administering all company policies and procedures and standards in a positive manner.
Current Locations: Orlando (Downtown), Maitland, Heathrow/Lake Mary, Ormond Beach (2), Port Orange, Mount Dora, Gainesville and Celebration Florida. Coming soon The Villages and Ocala. We are a growing company and are in need of those looking to grow with us.
Hours of work for this position are approximately 50-55 hours per week. Position requires standing and walking for long periods without a res/ break. Task sequencing and the completion of complex administrative responsibilities is required. Occasional moderate to heavy (10-50+lb) lifting and carrying, bending and reaching overhead may be required. Work environment includes heavy customer contact, working with cooking equipment and slippery walking surfaces. Position is under minimum levels of day-to-day supervision. Some travel may be required for training and operations meetings.
We require a strong, stable work history along with management experience in a high-volume, full service restaurant. Education and training normally associated with college coursework in business and hospitality. High-energy leaders needed. Must have relevant work experience in the food service industry and be able to stay on your feet for 10+ hours a day. Must be able to coach and lead teams of co-workers and troubleshoot in extremely busy environments. A passion for Food & Hospitality a MUST. We are looking for Leaders who can promote and maintain a positive workplace. Our Managers are responsible for both FOH & BOH job duties so experience in both areas is required.
