Job Overview: Heavy Equipment Operator needs to have Civil Construction background. We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for applying finishing touches to concrete surfaces, ensuring they are smooth, level, and visually appealing. This is a full-time position that requires expertise in construction and concrete finishing techniques. Duties: - Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing them - Use various tools and equipment to apply finishing touches to concrete surfaces - Apply sealants and protective coatings to enhance durability and longevity - Create decorative patterns or textures on concrete surfaces as per project requirements - Collaborate with construction team members to ensure timely completion of projects - Follow safety protocols and adhere to OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment - Inspect finished concrete surfaces for quality assurance and make necessary repairs or adjustments Skills: - Proficient in construction estimating and project management - Strong supervisory skills to oversee a team of workers - Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols in the construction industry - Familiarity with software such as Bluebeam, Primavera, and HeavyBid for project planning and documentation - Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints accurately - Experience working with pipeline construction is a plus We offer competitive pay rates based on experience and skills.
