Job Summary
The Kitchen Staff is responsible for supporting daily kitchen operations, including food prep, cooking assistance, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You’ll work closely with our cooks and management to ensure all dishes meet our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation (cutting, chopping, measuring, mixing, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations
- Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment as needed
- Stock and restock ingredients, supplies, and storage areas
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
- Assist cooks with basic cooking tasks and plating
- Receive and store deliveries properly
- Perform other back-of-house duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or food-service experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Flexible availability (days, nights, weekends, or holidays as needed)
