Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at our hotel. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during nighttime hours. This position involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling financial transactions, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure a pleasant experience for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform night audit functions, including balancing accounts and preparing daily financial reports.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while maintaining accurate records.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Handle phone calls using multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean and organized at all times.
- Assist with guest relations by providing information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations during the night shift.
- Monitor security systems and respond to any incidents or emergencies as needed.
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality management with experience in hotel operations.
- Proficiency in night audit procedures and financial reporting.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and guest services within a resort or hotel setting.
- Strong phone etiquette skills, particularly in handling multi-line phone systems.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
