List Industries, a leader in the locker and shelving industry, is looking for a lead AutoCAD Drafter.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review all shop drawings for accuracy prior to sending to customers for approval
- Resolve design problems.
- Prioritize workload to meet team needs and committed project deadlines
- Make detailing modification/improvements to existing drawings to meet requirements
- Establishing and maintaining drafting and documentation protocols as needed
- Coordinate project workflows with other functional areas of the organization
- Review and analyze specifications.
- Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures.
- Prepare layout drawings that detail plans and specifications.
- Provide details and component descriptions.
- Draft technical details.
- Consult technical handbooks and tables while in drafting phase.
- Make modifications/improvements to existing drawings to meet requirements.
- Create and store drawings electronically.
Qualifications
- 5 years drafting (AutoCAD)
- Managerial/supervisory experience
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must be proficient with AutoCAD
· Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience preparing clear, complete, and accurate detail drawings
· Candidate must exhibit a professional attitude and analytical problem-solving skills, must have willingness and desire to learn and take on new tasks
· Candidate must be personable, capable of working in a team environment and independently and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
