GENERAL MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION
Powerstone Property Management, a leading community association management company in Orange County, is seeking a full time, experienced General Manager at one of its' communities is Orange County. Position Summary: Manages one common interest development or CID, including homeowners association or master planned community.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Manages one CID/property while onsite at property
- Serves as liaison among homeowners, board, and vendors
- Attends board meetings
- Takes and implements direction from the board
- Follows policies and procedures from the board
- Conducts property inspections per the contract. Walks the property, inspects for CC&R (covenants, conditions, and restrictions) violations
- Monitors and inspects landscape and other vendor performance (such as pool and sidewalks) for any association component from the ground-level
- Issues violation letters based on association policy
- Issues work orders based on association policy
- Prepare board package for meetings. ·
- Obtain proposals from vendors based on association needs.
- Prepare annual calendar for association
- Complete all tasks on annual calendar within designated timeframe
- Assure statutory compliance with all applicable laws in regard to CIDs
- Perform job duties per contract
- May supervise staff, including administrative (assistant manager), facility maintenance (maintenance), lifestyle (assistant manager, life style director) and part-time facility monitors.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent, between two and four years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to communicate with others and to assimilate and understand information, in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.

- Ability to exercise good judgment and make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
- Proven written and verbal communications skills including ability to make clear and concise presentations.
- Ability to interact with staff, public, elected, and appointed officials.
- Proven management skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work in an office environment; sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time.
- Spend time out of office conducting on site property reviews routinely and as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
