Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Maker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a keen understanding of kitchen operations. You will be responsible for creating delicious pizzas that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. Your expertise in food safety and culinary techniques will contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
If you have never made a pizza but love to cook, we still want to hear from you! We will teach you all the steps to making a perfect zah!
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain quality standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, mixers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Assist in the preparation of other menu items as needed, including sandwiches, salads, and desserts.
- Participate in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management when stock is low.
- Assist with dough preparation and additional prep as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in pizza preparation is a plus but not required. If you have never made a pizza but love to cook, we will teach you!
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques
- Familiarity with culinary terms and cooking methods related to pizza making a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques are highly desirable.
- Dough-making experience is a plus, but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour
