Description:

- Commit to learning: maintain current Dept. of Transportation (DOT) knowledge for chemical regulations.
- Deliver water treatment chemicals to various facilities in the Metro Atlanta Area.
- Perform container to container chemical transfers of product from delivery vehicle to customer container or storage system at the delivery site and prime the chemical pump.
- Utilizing pump transfer procedure for chemical product from a tote into pails and drums in warehouse.
- Organize and maintain inventory using warehouse management systems.
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments and verify contents against a purchase order.
- Interfacing with building personnel, general contractors, and project managers to maintain good customer relations.
- Move, blend, and stage products as required for customer orders and internal needs.
- Develop action plans and schedules to maximize efficiency for customer service requirements.
- Assist in minor repairs and maintenance of warehouse equipment and tools.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the warehouse, equipment, and vehicles.
- Participate in events such as company meetings, safety training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Be responsible for self-management, time priorities and commitments.
Requirements:
- Mechanical aptitude: able to learn to use, maintain, and understand equipment including pumps, forklifts, liftgates, pallet jacks, box trucks, etc.
- Must be able to lift over 60 lbs., climb stairs, and the ability to wear the required PPE.
- Ability to load, secure, and unload a minimum of 600 lbs. from a commercial truck using proper safety protocols and equipment.
- Must perform required DOT pre and post daily evaluations on vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, inventory, and visit reports for all deliveries.
- Physical ability requires significant bending and lifting of various sizes and weights.
- Comfortable working in mechanical rooms which may be loud, hot, and a small-confined space.
- Can properly wear PPE such as face shields, gloves, and chemical resistant aprons.
- The ability to maneuver trucks through parking lots and back safely into small delivery docks.
- Comply with all Federal, State, Local, Customer or site specific and DOT Safety policies and procedures.
- Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License with Hazmat, Tanker, and Airbrake endorsements. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age with a clean driver’s record.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Work requires significant Metro Atlanta travel as well as throughout Georgia. Valid Georgia commercial driver’s license and insurability on commercial auto policy. Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or warehouse is a plus. Manual transmission experience preferred.
