This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your expertise while providing top-tier services in a bustling salon or spa setting. I am currently only looking for commission and rental only at the moment. Minimum of 1 year experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional hair styling services including cuts, color treatments, extensions, and styling tailored to client preferences.
- Apply eyelash extensions with precision to enhance natural beauty and meet individual client needs.
- Deliver a wide range of aesthetic treatments such as dermal fillers, Botox (botulinum toxin), chemical peels, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser procedures.
- Conduct skin care consultations and recommend suitable treatments like facials, chemical peels, or dermal fillers to achieve desired results.
- Manage client communication effectively by understanding their goals, explaining treatment options clearly, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain strict sanitation standards and adhere to health regulations during all procedures including body waxing, hair threading, nail care, and tattooing.
- Utilize salon software such as Millennium or MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, processing payments, and managing client records.
- Engage in retail sales by recommending products and conducting product demos to enhance client results and satisfaction.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including guest services, appointment bookings, and social media management to promote the salon’s offerings.
- Stay current with industry trends by participating in ongoing education on topics like color theory, makeup application, barbering techniques, and advanced aesthetic treatments.
Skills
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of hair styling, lash extension application, and aesthetic treatments.
- Excellent management skills to oversee client appointments and coordinate team efforts efficiently.
- Proficiency with salon management software such as Millennium or MINDBODY for seamless operations.
- Strong knowledge of esthetic procedures including Botox injections (botulinum toxin), dermal fillers, chemical peels, laser treatments, body waxing, dermabrasion, and deep tissue massage.
- Skilled in nail care services like manicures and pedicures; capable of performing hair extensions and straight razor shaves when needed.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients about their beauty goals.
- Ability to upsell products and services confidently while maintaining a genuine focus on client needs.
- Knowledge of social media management for marketing purposes to attract new clients and promote ongoing specials or events.
- Understanding of sanitation protocols necessary for safe practice across all treatments including tattooing or body piercing if applicable.
- Experience with retail sales strategies that enhance revenue while providing value-added service to clients.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
