Position Details
- Job Title: Die Setter
- Shift: 2nd Shift
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Hours: 40 hours per week (with potential overtime)
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting Wage: $15.00/hour or higher, based on experience and knowledge
- Raise: $0.50/hour increase after 90 days
- Bonus: Shift differential pay in addition to base wage
- Employment Type: Full-time
- We offer a competitive wage and pay WILL BE based on experience so wage could potentially be more. Shift differential will be extra

Summary
As a Diesetter, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, focusing on powdered metal molding and ensuring high-quality production standards. A die setter is a skilled manufacturing professional who installs, adjusts, and removes specialized tools called "dies" or molds in industrial presses. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your core mechanical knowledge and experience with machining and math will be essential in operating and maintaining molding equipment. You will utilize premium skills such as quality inspection and attention to detail to enhance efficiency and precision. Your relevant skills in policy and procedures with precision measuring instruments like micrometers will further support our commitment to excellence in manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Die Installation: Safely mounts and secures heavy dies or molds into manufacturing presses.
- Machine Calibration: Aligns equipment to exact specifications, regulating pressure, temperature, and cycle times.
- Test Runs: Performs initial test strikes or "first shots" to ensure the produced parts meet quality standards and conform to blueprints.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Inspects the equipment, monitors for tool wear, and makes necessary mechanical adjustments to prevent defects and minimize downtime.
