We are not looking for just any therapist.
And we know that probably sounds cliché.
Every group practice says they're looking for passionate clinicians. Every practice says they value continuing education, collaboration, and great client care.
That's not what makes us different.
At All of You Therapy, we believe that becoming an exceptional therapist has as much to do with who we are as it does with what we know.
Of course, strong clinical training matters. We value therapists who seek out advanced education, who read widely, who stay curious, and who continually deepen their understanding of attachment, trauma, neuroscience, and psychotherapy.
But technical knowledge alone is never enough.
We are looking for a clinician who understands that our own nervous systems, attachment histories, defenses, blind spots, and capacity for self-reflection profoundly shape every therapy session we sit in.
Someone who knows that the work of becoming a therapist never really ends.
Someone who seeks consultation not because they have to, but because they genuinely want to become better.
Someone who welcomes thoughtful challenge rather than becoming defensive.
Someone who values humility more than certainty.
Someone who has their own therapist and believes strongly in doing their own depth-oriented, attachment focused therapeutic work.
Someone who believes that the deepest clinical growth often happens outside of manuals and treatment protocols.
The clinician we're hoping to find...
You'll primarily work with adults navigating relational trauma, attachment wounds, childhood emotional neglect, complex PTSD, anxiety, OCD, grief, life transitions, and the lasting impact of difficult relationships.
Experience working with families through an attachment-focused lens is a meaningful bonus, though not required.
More importantly, you're someone who:
- Finds yourself reading therapy books because you genuinely want to.
- Invests in trainings because they make you a better clinician, not simply because you need CE credits.
- Thinks deeply about what is happening inside yourself while sitting with clients.
- Understands that therapeutic presence is something that is cultivated over years, not achieved after one certification.
- Values feedback and supervision.
- Wants colleagues who love talking about psychotherapy as much as you do.
- Believes every client makes sense within the context of their story.
- Is drawn toward depth rather than symptom management alone.
- Can tolerate uncertainty and complexity without rushing to fix.
You don't need to have every modality under the sun, though we do value clinicians who can back up their commitment to continued clinical growth through demonstration of advanced clinical training.
You do need to have demonstrated that you are committed to growing as a therapist.
Our approach
Our work is deeply informed by attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, experiential therapies, relational psychotherapy, developmental trauma treatment, and neurodiversity-affirming practice.
Many of our clinicians have advanced training in approaches such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems, AEDP, Theraplay, DDP, Child-Centered Play Therapy, Brainspotting, Gestalt Therapy, and related models. We value these trainings because they expand how we think, not because we believe any one modality is the answer.
We care far more about the therapist than the technique.
What you can expect from us
Joining our practice means joining a culture where learning is expected, curiosity is protected, and humility is respected.
We regularly engage in consultation that goes beyond case management. We think about attachment dynamics in the therapy relationship. We wonder about our own responses. We ask difficult questions. We challenge one another thoughtfully. We celebrate growth, not perfection.
If you're looking for a practice where you can simply maintain your caseload and practice the way you've always practiced, we probably aren't the right fit.
If you're excited by the idea that ten years from now you'll still be discovering new things about psychotherapy, yourself, and your clients, you may have found your professional home.
Qualifications
- Licensed clinician in Pennsylvania (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist). We are currently only seeking licensed clinicians.
- Experience providing psychotherapy to adults
- Strong interest in attachment, trauma, and relational psychotherapy
- Demonstrated commitment to advanced learning and professional development
- Comfortable providing in-person services in Center City Philadelphia

We value clinicians who pursue advanced training because they are genuinely committed to becoming better therapists. We love therapists who are intellectually curious, who invest in learning, and who seek out high-quality education long after licensure.
At the same time, we believe the deepest therapeutic work asks something more of us than collecting certifications. It requires the willingness to understand ourselves just as deeply as we seek to understand our clients. We believe both matter.
