Part-Time Administrative AssistantConnect Therapy | West Des Moines, Iowa
Connect Therapy is a growing private speech, language, and feeding therapy practice serving children and adults in the West Des Moines area. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our team and help create a welcoming, organized experience for our clients and families.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable multitasking, has strong attention to detail, and can take initiative to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
What You'll DoClient & Front Office Support
- Greet clients and families warmly when they arrive
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to general inquiries
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, and referral sources
- Assist with scheduling, rescheduling, and maintaining provider calendars
- Help manage cancellations, waitlists, and appointment reminders
- Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional office environment
Billing & Administrative Support
- Assist with simple billing and payment-related tasks
- Collect and document client payments when needed
- Maintain accurate client and administrative records
- Assist with scanning, filing, mailing, and other general office tasks
- Help monitor office supplies and place orders as needed
Social Media & Marketing Support
- Assist with creating and scheduling social media posts
- Help maintain Connect Therapy's social media presence
- Take photos or videos of the clinic and team when appropriate
- Assist with simple marketing projects and community outreach
- Help prepare materials for community events and referral outreach
Other Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the clinic owner and therapy team
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Help identify ways to make office systems more efficient and organized

- Flexible and willing to jump in wherever help is needed
Previous experience in a medical, therapy, healthcare, or administrative setting is a plus, but not required. Experience with scheduling, billing, social media, or customer service is also helpful.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
