Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. This is a part time position most likely for Wednesdays and Fridays and eventually one Saturday per month. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional chairside assistance, ensure patient comfort, and support the delivery of high-quality dental care. The position requires a professional who is detail-oriented, Friendly, Kind, compassionate, and committed to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
- Take Digital dental X-rays, including 3D scans, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Record vital signs and medical history, updating medical documentation accurately in EMR systems . we work with Curve Dental . We will train you on that.
- Provide patient education on procedures, post-treatment care, and oral hygiene practices.
- Assist with medical imaging and other diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Support infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment within the dental clinic.
- Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and managing medical records when required.
- Collaborate with the dental team using four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency and patient comfort.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
