Mover - Part Time - Growth Opportunities Available
Job Overview
We are looking for part-time movers who can work 10 to 20 hours a week, with the opportunity to work more hours (25–35+ per week) as availability and performance allow. We work around your schedule as long as you have at least 3 days per week available.
The Moving Brothers is a fast-growing, locally owned moving company, and we’re currently needing 2–3 dependable movers who are motivated, reliable, and interested in long-term growth and leadership opportunities.
Pay
We offer competitive pay with clear paths for advancement:
- Mover / Helper: $19 per hour
- Packer: $20-21 per hour
Responsibilities
- Load and unload furniture, boxes, and household items safely and efficiently
- Properly handle items to prevent damage to the customers property
- Use moving equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, moving straps, and ratchet straps (training provided)
- Perform heavy lifting (can be 100+ lbs with team assistance) using safe lifting techniques
- Assist with packing and unpacking when needed
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members on job sites
- Maintain a positive attitude and be prepared to help
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (You’ll meet at different job locations; carpooling is available for farther jobs)
- Strong physical stamina, able to lift heavy items, stay active for long periods, and work outdoors
- Be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Willing to learn new techniques and improve skills
- Ability to work well on a team while staying self motivated
- Flexible availability, including weekdays and weekends
