Overview
Join our dynamic sales team as an Account Executive, where your passion for helping people and business development will drive growth and forge strong customer relationships. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and closing high-value deals within a fast-paced corporate sales environment. Your expertise in construction or irrigation or a related field, negotiation, and client communication will be essential to exceeding sales goals and expanding our market presence. Duties
- · Service clients so they have a flawless irrigation design and build experience
· Generate revenue in line with quarterly and annual goals
· Attend sales meetings, company meetings, and other sales team and company functions
· Document all sales calls, appointments, and appropriate notes in the CRM
· Prospect and hunt for new clients and maintain an active prospecting plan
· Follow sales process for all prospects and clients, including with design, and follow-up on all client issues/steps
· Generate and present estimates
· Assist with collections, if necessary
· Review job cost invoices for accuracy
· Prior to Project Manager handoff, manage client expectations, timelines, and delivery expectations
· After Project Manager handoff, assist Project Manager in managing client expectations, timelines, and delivery expectations
· Prepare and deliver sales performance metrics (through sales team scorecard) and pipeline development plans/reports to the Sales Manager as needed
· Follow design and estimate process by partnering with internal resources and making each fellow Thompson Pump employee a partner in the client design and success process
· After contract signing, follow the project process by partnering with internal resources and making each fellow Thompson Pump employee a partner in the client design and success process
· Participate in Sales Meetings each week
· Participate in Sales and Project Management coordination meetings post deal win
Provide support to other colleagues as requested by the Sales Manager
- Skills
- · High School Graduate or equivalent professional experience
· Minimum of 2 years experience in sales or equivalent experience; 5+ years preferred;
· Experience with relationship-based sales of $10-50k+ and/or carrying a quota of $2Million+ annually;
· Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned annual/quarterly goals and targets
· Experience with sales cycles of at least one month preferred
· Experience in a relevant field with a deep knowledge of construction or irrigation is preferred
· Genuine passion for sales demonstrated through experience and results
· Experience using a CRM and attentive to forecasting and business reporting
· Effective problem solving and decision-making skills
· Strong communication (verbal and written) and relationship skills
· Demonstrated strong follow up and follow through, with a customer-first mentality
· At least an intermediate level of expertise in Microsoft Office products. Especially Excel, Word, and Outlook

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
