Responsibilities
- Safely operate passenger vehicles, including vans, shuttles, limousines, and personal delivery vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic laws and state transportation regulations
- Navigate using GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries and pickups across designated local routes
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients and passengers, addressing their needs professionally and courteously
- Assist with heavy lifting when loading or unloading cargo or luggage, ensuring proper manual handling techniques are followed
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks to keep vehicles in optimal condition and report any issues promptly
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, passenger counts, mileage, and route details for operational transparency
- Follow all safety protocols related to passenger vehicle operation and transportation regulations to ensure a secure environment for all onboard
Experience
- Prior delivery driver experience or shuttle driving background preferred; experience with bus driving or chauffeur services is a plus
- Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and local driving routes to optimize efficiency
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and team coordination
- Experience in passenger van operation or medical transportation enhances suitability for this role
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks associated with vehicle loading/unloading
- Knowledge of state transportation regulations and adherence to traffic rules is essential
