Job Description
Hotel La Croix is seeking a warm, detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant / Runner to create an exceptional start to each guest's day. This role is responsible for welcoming guests into the Breakfast Lounge, verifying breakfast packages, maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment, and ensuring food and supplies are replenished throughout breakfast service.
The ideal candidate demonstrates genuine aloha spirit, takes pride in delivering exceptional hospitality, and works with a strong sense of urgency to provide a seamless breakfast experience.
Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and greet every guest entering the Breakfast Lounge.
- Verify guest breakfast packages and process breakfast charges for guests without a package.
- Assist with opening and preparing the Breakfast Lounge prior to service.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the Breakfast Lounge throughout the morning.
- Continuously monitor food stations, beverage stations, and supplies to ensure they remain fully stocked.
- Retrieve food, beverages, and supplies from the kitchen and replenish the Breakfast Lounge as needed.
- Run food from the kitchen to the Breakfast Lounge efficiently to support timely service.
- Clear tables and maintain a clean dining environment throughout breakfast service.
- Proactively anticipate guest needs and provide prompt, friendly assistance.
- Work closely with the kitchen, Front Desk, Guest Experience, and Housekeeping teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in accordance with hotel policies.
- Assist with closing duties, cleaning, and preparing the lounge for the following day's service.
- Demonstrate professionalism and provide exceptional customer service during every guest interaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Prerequisites
- Previous hospitality, restaurant, food and beverage, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Warm, friendly personality with a genuine commitment to guest service.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Sense of urgency with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment
As a guest-facing Food & Beverage position, the Breakfast Attendant / Runner will spend the majority of each shift standing, walking, carrying food and supplies, and interacting with guests. This position requires working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional cleanliness, professionalism, and hospitality standards.
