We pride ourselves on maintaining a modern, safe operation of vehicles and a supportive work environment. We are seeking a dependable, safety-minded CDL Dump Truck Driver to join the team. You will operate our primary, well-maintained tri-axle dump truck and work directly with the owner. Duties
- Transport: Operate dump trucks safely while transporting materials such as gravel, dirt, debris and asphalt on construction sites
- DOT Regulations: Follow federal construction safety regulations and construction grading standards to maintain a safe work environment
- Dedicated Operation: Safely drive and manage our dump truck on local routes, ensuring timely deliveries to construction sites and plants.
- Vehicle Ownership: Conduct thorough daily pre- and post-trip inspections (fluids, brakes, tires) to keep the truck running in peak condition.
- Precise Dumping: Coordinate directly with site managers to load materials accurately and dump loads safely on uneven construction terrain.
- Simple Paperwork: Keep track of daily material tickets, fuel receipts, and delivery logs, reporting them directly to the owner.
- Direct Communication: Communicate openly and immediately about any truck maintenance needs, scheduling issues, or site delays.
Requirements
- License: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or Class B required).
- Experience: Proven experience operating a tri-axle dump truck.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record with no major recent violations.
- Maintenance: Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Credentials: Valid DOT Medical Card and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Safety: Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures. Strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, construction machinery maintenance, and safety regulations.
