Position Overview:
The Production Operator ensures the smooth running of electrolyte production processes while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role supports overall productivity, operational improvements, and adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate electrolyte production processes according to batch sheets and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Follow job orders from Team Leader or Supervisor to achieve maximum efficiency and OEE.
Monitor equipment and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Handle chemical materials and equipment safely, maintaining EHS standards.
- Keep work areas clean and organized (5S).
- Patrol the plant to prevent incidents and ensure workplace safety.
- Collaborate with team members to improve operational processes and productivity.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- (Preferred) Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Materials.
- (Preferred) Prior experience in manufacturing operations.
- Strong learning mindset, ethical work approach, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, and manual handling.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Navigate production floor and multiple departments.
- Requires climbing stairs and ladders.
