Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and physically capable General Laborer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will support production operations by performing various manual tasks, ensuring safety standards are upheld, and assisting with the assembly and handling of materials. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment focused on quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the assembly, packaging, and movement of foundation products in accordance with production schedules
- Operate basic tools and machinery safely, adhering to all safety protocols and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards
- Perform heavy lifting tasks regularly to transport materials or finished goods within the facility
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote a safe working environment
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly at all times during work activities
- Support inventory management by sorting, counting, and storing materials accurately
- Follow safety standards in production processes to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with basic tools and machinery
- Experience in manufacturing environments preferred but not required; training provided
- Strong understanding of safety standards in production settings, including GMP practices
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of PPE use and maintenance
- Good physical stamina and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team
- Must be able to lift 30-40lbs regularly and occasionally required to lift over 40lbs
- Regularly required to stand 8-10 hours daily, walk, use hands and arms to reach.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, or crouch.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
