Responsibilities
Lead infection prevention program development and maintenance across the facility.
Monitor and report healthcare-associated infection data and trends.
Coordinate employee health screening, immunizations, and exposure management.
Conduct routine audits of infection control practices and compliance.
Provide staff education and training on infection prevention and safety protocols.
Respond to infection prevention incidents and coordinate corrective actions.
Develop and update policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory standards.
Utilize data pipelines and dashboards to forecast infection risks and opportunities.
Collaborate with leadership to set measurable performance targets and track progress.
Serve as a subject matter expert on infection prevention for health and safety initiatives.
Collaborate with clinical teams to implement evidence-based practices.
Experience/Qualifications
RN license in good standing with current infection prevention practice credentialing.
Mastery of infection prevention program development and surveillance.
Experience monitoring HAI data, trends, and KPI dashboards.
Act as SME on infection prevention for safety initiatives and incident response.
Develop and update policies aligned with regulatory standards (CDC, CMS, OSHA).
Ability to coordinate employee health screening, immunizations, and exposure management.
Conduct regular audits of IPC practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
Deliver staff education on infection prevention and safety protocols.
Forecast infection risks using data pipelines; translate insights to actions.
Collaborate with leadership to set measurable targets and track progress.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration within clinical teams.
Strong project management skills with focus on merit-based performance.
