We are seeking:
A dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team.
MUST BE KIND AND A TEAM PLAYER! We have a great team! Every staff member has been at the office long term.
We are an office that provides high-quality, personalized dental care to children in a friendly and supportive environment.
You will assist the dentist during operative procedures and perform coronal polishing during recall appointments.
This position requires a combination of clinical skills and a warm demeanor to help put young patients at ease.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and sterilized.
- Take digital dental X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Record and update patient medical histories.
- Maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Utilize OPEN DENTAL software for managing patient information
- Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
