Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor with refrigerated trailer across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Navigate using GPS systems and plan routes effectively to optimize delivery schedules.
- Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and hazardous materials regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to maintain safety standards.
- Follow strict NO TOUCH Freight Policy
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with DOT regulations.
Experience
- Valid CDL A license with proven experience in commercial truck driving and delivery driving.
- Prior experience operating refrigerated trailers is preferred.
- Familiarity with over-the-road (OTR) driving routes and route driving best practices.
- Understanding of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols related to commercial trucking.
- Experience with managing delivery schedules efficiently.
- Strong commitment to safety standards and delivering excellent customer service.
