Job Overview
We are seeking an Intermediate Structural Designer to join our design team supporting advanced technology and industrial manufacturing projects, including semiconductor fabrication facilities. In this role, you will develop structural designs and create high-quality 2D and 3D models using Revit and other design software. You will work independently on assigned project scopes while collaborating with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate construction documents that meet client and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop 3D structural models using Revit based on engineering direction, sketches, and project requirements.
- Produce structural plans, details, and drawing packages for steel and concrete structures.
- Create accurate 2D and 3D design deliverables that meet project schedules and quality expectations.
- Review and verify the completeness and accuracy of your work before submission.
- Coordinate with engineers and other design disciplines to ensure integrated project execution.
- Participate in QA/QC reviews, BIM coordination, and design review meetings.
- Manage assigned work independently while meeting deadlines and project commitments.
- Seek clarification when project requirements or design standards are unclear.
- Support team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
- Continue developing design automation skills and stay current with emerging design technologies.
- Follow company and client standards while promoting a strong culture of safety and teamwork.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Coursework in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD).
- Minimum of 2 years of structural drafting/design experience.
- At least 1 year of Revit experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer-Aided Drafting or a related field.
- 3+ years of Revit experience.
- Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam.
- Experience designing structural steel and reinforced concrete systems.
- Experience supporting industrial facilities, preferably semiconductor or advanced manufacturing projects.
