Database Architect 3 – Enterprise Information Management Subject Matter Expert

Overview
We are seeking an experienced MDM Developer to design, build, and implement master data management solutions on the Informatica MDM Cloud platform in support of ERS's enterprise data strategy.
This role will lead the development of models, workflows, and integrations that ensure master data remains accurate, consistent, and accessible across the organization. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Informatica MDM configuration, match/merge logic, survivorship and trust rules, and platform performance tuning, and is comfortable partnering with both business and technical stakeholders to turn requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop projects and models within Informatica MDM Cloud across Development, Test, QA, and Production environments.
- Configure match/merge logic, survivorship rules, and trust/validation rules for master data.
- Build and maintain data ingestion and integration jobs supporting the MDM platform.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and resolve technical challenges. Ensure secure, reliable data flows between internal systems and third-party applications.
- Perform Informatica administration tasks, including user management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with architects to refine MDM architecture for performance and scalability.
- Develop and maintain Informatica Data Quality components per design and functional specifications.
- Lead post-development transition activities, including training ERS staff to maintain and support Informatica IDMC.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as an MDM Developer, including hands-on configuration and deployment of Informatica MDM.
- Strong database design and management skills across Snowflake, SQL, and DBT. Experience with relational and dimensional data modeling.
- Demonstrated experience implementing ETL/ELT workflows. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Information Systems or a related field. Advanced experience with Informatica platform performance tuning. Experience with enterprise-scale MDM deployments.
Pay: $65.00 - $80.00 per hour
