Key Responsibilities:
Perform installations and repairs on plumbing systems including potable water supply lines, sewer drains, vent piping, and gas lines across multiple educational facilities
Troubleshoot and maintain domestic hot water systems including boilers, water heaters, and heat exchangers; replace and adjust related electrical and mechanical control components
Test, repair, and certify a wide range of cross-connection/backflow prevention devices
Diagnose and repair infrared faucet sensors, flushometers, eye wash stations, drinking fountains, and emergency fixtures
Investigate and correct issues related to gas leaks and indoor air quality caused by sewer gas
Respond to emergency work orders and participate in after-hours on-call rotation, with a minimum of 4 hours of paid overtime for call-backs
Support seasonal snow removal operations and assist in additional mechanical trades as needed

Schedule:
Standard hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Summer schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
24/7 emergency on-call rotation required
Qualifications:
Licensed Journeyman Plumber in the State of Colorado (required)
Minimum 4 years of plumbing experience after licensure; total 4–8 years of commercial plumbing experience preferred
Valid Colorado Driver’s License with a clean driving record
ASSE Backflow Assembly Tester Certification (must be current or obtained shortly after hire)

Salary:
$33.67-$34.28/hr.
